They don't need special efforts expended on them to organize their recreational and social pursuits.<BR/><BR/>Compare them to our low income families, and it's obvious the latter is the group that needs our attention. While the Family Y runs a subsidy program through United Way, they force even those on welfare to pay out of pocket to use their programs. It's called the "We Care" program. Maybe it should be called the "We Care - a litle bit" program instead.<BR/><BR/>I say let the Town build their rec. centre, only let's open it up for everyone to use, not just that "special interest group" called senior citizens.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
