It is getting the "fast track" through the planning stages. Does it have an Accessible Washroom? Remember the fight to get such a washroom in the Capitol Theatre in Port Hope when it was being re-built?<BR/>Wiser heads eventually prevailed and the Capitol does have an Accessible Washroom. What exactly is an Accessible Washroom? It should have a raised toiet, grab bars, hand rails beside the toilet, an accessible sink, soap dispenser and towels within easy reach from a wheelchair, and a change table for infants. It then becomes a Family Washroom where Dad can take that little daughter, Mom can take that son that she is not ready to send in alone to the Men's room, and the elderly or wheelchair bound can have somebody <BR/>to help them use the facility.accessiblebobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06529024730974741373noreply@blogger.com
