Even more remarkable are Bill Finley's recycled signs from Joan Chalovich's mayoralty campaign, and his use of the magic marker to pen his name. At least Deputy Mayor Rosemarie Robins managed to print a few signs, showing that she feels the position of Mayor of Alnwick/Haldimand is worth spending a few dollars. I would be interested to hear your comments on the acclaimed councillor candidates of Alnwick/Haldimand. Incidentally, the electorate of Alnwick/Haldimand does not receive any notification in the mail that they can or cannot vote. Wouldn't a mail-in vote be very sensible in such a large<BR/>rural community, or would that increase the voter turnout and spoil the election for the incumbents? Oh, I forgot, there's only one extra councillor candidate in ward 2. Good that the municipality saved money on all that postage for mail-outs, the more left to spend on foolish litigation like gravel pits and long roads to abandoned cemeteries.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
