I suppose they'll use those dirty orange and black construction barriers that are brought out whenever the downtown has a "festival" --so attractive for visitors!

But why the need for barriers anyway especially at the outrageous cost of $7500. Damn this town loves to spend money! Just park a farm truck on either end of the street, problem solved.

Great thought, makes sense, however Union will never give an inch and would scream at any idea of the contract bylaw person doing THEIR work.

Another suggestion, contract out Public Works. Problem solved.

The Farmers' Market needs to get its objectives in order. They seem to not have a long-term view of their future, and too often can't agree amongst themselves on what they want. Maybe the town is just trying to keep them from making short-sighted decisions.
