I elaborated.

Deb O brought in the off topic Reagan and G8 summit.

And anonymous brought in to the discussion, what?

Total off topic anonymous -- it would be a good idea if you had some fun. Lefties are such self-righteous assholes bashing people for not having the same high quotient of compassion as them. This is the best of multicuturalism? One would hope eventually humanity might evolve beyond such knee-jerk responses as winning a sports events = flag-waving & violence. Wouldn't be surprised if the World Cup suffers a major riot or mass trampling of spectators at some point this month.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23948057.post-66396926745086388082010-06-07T17:05:49.368-04:002010-06-07T17:05:49.368-04:00.. visible minorities .. homogeneity .. No problem. Of course, it's not a place for wimps. I made a feature article in the Toronto Star about my graffiti during the Summit. hat a fun playground. I will be up to Toronto again this time to enjoy the party er uh parties.

Another dime-a-dozen anonymous referring to things unspecified and wallowing in ambiguity. It won't be hard!

That last time the Summit was there, my handsome spouse lived in the area where it was held. He has no fond memories of being told he could not go to his own home because Ronnie Reagan was in the neighbourhood and must be protected. He was very happy when they all went home.Deb Ohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06012853847654670916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23948057.post-42694174088287513702010-06-07T13:35:41.307-04:002010-06-07T13:35:41.307-04:00someone's trying to push little buttons, methi...someone's trying to push little buttons, methinks - it will be fun to see if anyone is gullible enough to take the bait hereAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23948057.post-14037079548843954612010-06-07T09:39:02.151-04:002010-06-07T09:39:02.151-04:00"But we will see and Toronto will be going..."But we will see and Toronto will be going nuts in the ethnic enclaves and St Clair Avenue will be a place to avoid for the next two weeks"

This is the biggest regret of moving to Cobourg.

Living in the centre of the city provided me with access to the best of multiculturalism. The Turks win a Playoff game, and lo and behold, 20,000 Turks flag-waving Turks shout their way past my home.

Turks? Thousands? There are many ethnicities in Toronto that do not have their own enclave (Magyars, Turks, French, etc)but they do come out to do the Dundas Square dance, the Queen West for CITY-TV. Now that CITY has moved to Dundas, that will be the focus of celebrations.

The year the French won, they had no enclave to go to, so up they went to St Clair and a sea of Italian flags. Lotsa teasing and taunts, but the French mixed well with the losers.

I enjoyed being a visible minority in Toronto. Now I'm in Cobourg -- homogeneity.Wally Keelerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02370532557074561490noreply@blogger.com
