Lee Dekeyser is a true rural gem, ready to take over where Squire Ferguson (was it Ken?) left off some time ago.<br /><br />I recall Mr. Dekeyser rising to the defence of County &quot;field workers&quot; not getting a lunch break. Somebody had to explain they were talking about the welfare office workers doing home visits, not farm workers bent over in the fields with the hot sun blazing down on them.<br /><br />A memorable moment all round, and my pals at the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty made a meal out of it back then. Musta been 1989-ish.<br /><br />The real King of Komedy has to be former Warden Ian Angus, who once called 911 when a peasant parked their car in his spot at the County building.
