They all claim to believe in diversity, but call for conformity to their restrictive viewpoint. They all appeal to sensitivity but one after another accuse an individual of bigotry, racism, oppression, and calling for ever more punishment of this individual, etc, etc, thereby dehumanizing that individual. Each and every one of the speakers were as dull as a cinder block -- no passion, no wit, no spontaneity. It was heartening to see that there was a low turnout to this Star Chamber event.<BR/><BR/>It reminds me of the neighbourhood committees that the communist totalitarian regime of Cuba set up to enforce its ideology on the average miserable citizens. These same sort of committees also prevail in communist China. <BR/><BR/>The participants in this Peterborough oppression-fest were all doing their best to impose their own dominate viewpoint on the general population and oppress any dissident viewpoint.<BR/><BR/>Then we have some "anonymous" on this blog speaking of a "dominant group" without realizing that the dominant group was represented by that gang of righteous egos piling on to a single individual to oppress his inept letter-to-the-editor.Wally Keelernoreply@blogger.com
