Adults stuck on welfare, most of them disabled in some way, were insulted by a paltry 2% raise in the rates, and they face reductions to those same rates when the faulty Child Benefit starts paying out monthly, in July '08.<BR/><BR/>How many are without health care providers in this province? How many can't afford to buy the prescriptions they need?<BR/><BR/>How many rely on foodbanks to feed their families? <BR/><BR/>Many of us want to see those needs met, and now! That's where any extra cash should be going, forget making a fancy fountain. We can live without that, but our neighbours can't live without an adequate income and the supports they need.<BR/>DJOAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
