Thanks for posting this stuff, Ben. The Cobourg Daily Star does an inadequate job of informing the public of these fine nuances. I regularly check out the Osprey newspaper site; all newspapers have drop down menus for editorials, letters, etc. The Cobourg Daily Star's drop down menu offers "Editorials" but virtually never delivers. They have little interest in information distribution.

This is probably a silly question but is there a legal process to turf the town council?

Take them to court? Impeach them?
Find them to be mentally incompetent and in need of protection?

How about we first put them in the public stocks so citizens can hurl rotten tomatoes at them, then tar and feather them and drop them off somewhere in the Re-for? They'd be too stupid to ever make their way home.

Any other ideas? A revolution maybe, we could storm the Bastilles (aka Victoria Hall)and hurl them from the clock tower one by one.
