Landing here – the PV airport, 4.75hrs after the easiest start  at Pearson ever – 45 minutes from check-in to the seat at the gate, we stepped out into an 82C humidity. A ten minute walk to the Plaza Marina and we were into our condo – home for the next four months.

Walking into a drastically different condo than the one we left we settled in. Obviously the previous tenant had been a bad boy; the place had been cleaned and most of the amenities that make it more liveable had been cleaned  out. But the box we had left behind last year was still there (Doreen had worried about that box all year) and comfort was somewhat restored.

A quick feed at the downstairs Micky D and a quick trip to the Super-Mercado we felt somewhat normal. After setting up the electronics and the firestick TV we both flaked out really early. Slept right through and now ready for the first day activities – check out what had changed, check out all the usual haunts for change.
