We certainly didn’t expect to see one of these in Bangkok

Well another shopping day, while we were sightseeing yesterday one couple in the party had gone shopping in the MBK Centre (wikiref here) just down the road from the hotel in the Siam Square. Six storeys of shopping and 2,000 vendors. We went straight to the fourth floor as that was the home of a hundred electronic dealers. Phones, earpieces, headphones cameras and every electronic device you could think of.

The major items – phones and cameras were not that much cheaper but small items like simultaneous translation earpieces were. I bought a pair as well as a 1TB SSD drive half the size of a normal one. It will be a travel device. Spending time in the electronics department was a pleasure for one and chore for the other three. We took the edge off with a coffee break. One of us had a hot chocolate – good to look at and great to drink!

Back to the hotel and the resto because we have a very early pickup for the airport.

Acknowledgements and congratulations must got to Elie Nguyen of RealisticAsia for the coordination and planning of this nearly three week trip. No complaints, a couple of little glitches that did not harm us in any way and which we overcame with class and efficiency.
