Big change to the itinerary: The stay in Hoi An had to be cancelled because of an impending Typhoon that made landfall at Da Nang so we added more free days in Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok. Those days may not be reflected in the diaries because we bummed around and rested from the frequent flying and\u00a0 long tour days.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We start the trip by staying\u00a0 in Tokyo for four days:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
