After a delightful meal to make Brother-in-law Sandy’s last night memorable, we wandered over to the field next to the restaurant to enjoy the FunFair that was in Town for the next couple of weeks.
To say that this FunFair was fun would be an understatement – Mexicans love to have fun, and they did, at least when we were there. As all the rides were portable the rides were not big but the portable Roller Coaster was big enough to attract a large line. The others – the whirling Terminator appeared to be popular as was the Kamikaze, in other words all the rides guaranteed to appeal to teenagers did a mighty fine business.
As an aside the CNE could learn a few things here, no entrance fee, and the most expensive ride was only 80 pesos $5.90cdn. That may be expensive for the locals but plenty were riding so expense was no barrier.
A most entertaining way to spend Sandy’s last night!
