Day Six: Back in the “Eternal City”

Arrived in Rome yesterday afternoon and all I can say is that this trip is definitely  DIY project. We did all the planning and as usual it was sight unseen only pictures on Booking.Com and blind faith. Because Rome is peculiar in that the B&Bs and small hotels are actually carved out of units in residential buildings. One building we stayed in a previous trip to Rome actually had four hotels in one building – one on each floor. This BnB is no exception. Communication has been on ‘whatsapp’ and the place has five rooms on the fifth floor of a condo building in a residential area of Rome.
