- The inexorable Policing Debate: This is due for the next step - the local discussion. It will be interesting to see just how seriously this action is dealt with, outside of the community of Port Hope. In Cobourg I fear that because the "noisy chattering classes, a la the condo dwellers" simply don't care about the local police service, but spend energy and lifetimes of debate about a stupid piece of concrete, the issue is a non-starter in Cobourg. On Wednesday the County will release the report and post it on their website. What needs to be noted, in Cobourg, is how the Cobourg reps voted. When will we realise that Peter Delanty put the boots to the historic Police service?
- The US Democratic Primary: What I think is immaterial to the end result, all I know is that a Black Man will have a huge struggle to win the Presidency. Clinton makes a strong argument when she points out that "americans" will not support an unknown black man who talks up a good storm.
- The weather: Today looks like a good day, projected to be at least 22 degrees!

For some time now I have been convinced that in the Great USA you gotta have a penis to be president, even if it's a black one!
Guess we'll all know for sure in November, won't we?
What a sexist statement.
This is one of the most peurile political comments I have seen posted on this blog. It is no wonder that the author wishes to remain Anonymous.
They display their ignorance by presuming that Hillarious Clinton will be chosen by the Democrats this summer to be their candidate, and then lose the election against the Republicans in November.
Perhaps, if Anonymous removed their head from their sexist posterior they would have realized that the money is on Obama Lama Ding Dong to win the Democratic nod.
Note: if I were USAmerican, I would have cast my vote for Hillary.
However, to dilute this political process down to the issue of genital configuration is indicative of extremely shallow perception -- all too typical of brainless slogan-shouters and bumper-sticker pundits.
