American TV news? So he's spent the past week watching people talk about an empty tinfoil balloon.
Watching Cdn news, especially The Mother Corp, is carcinogenic -- it causes bloated bland glands to explode with mediocrity.
I suspect it's part of his anger management strategy to ignore Canadian news. He just could not control his temper if he watched it and discovered his team of control freaks have not yet put their own Big Brother stamp on everything.
Sadly for him, it takes more than a turn at the piano to re-make this monster.
I'll bet he watches good old FOX news and dreams of the day he might control the media like that here. He's already got CTV and Canwest, with CITY TV going down the tubes next.
Thank heaven for the CBC, even if they too are cowed by Harper's threats, they still put out the best effort of them all.
CBC = Canadian Banality Corporation.
State-tv is state-tv is state-tv is more power to the state to decide what can or cannot be scene. I am not a lover of state power, for the CBC, for Human Rights Commissions, or any other government agency. I ain't a state toady.

This PM likes to rub salt in the wound. The little devil knows the reaction he gets whenever he loads his gun on these kinds of off-the-cuff remarks. The caffeine-inspired wisdom at Tim's probably agrees with his affections. It is noted , however, that he likes Corner Gas, ans TSN hockey and probably watches the Mercer Report. Go figure.
Well, CBC reported this AM that 27 of CTV's on-air personell heve been chosen as Olympic Torch Bearers. This, of course, after CTV was chosen as the Official Network of the Olympics.
I wonder if that kind of commercialization of the Olympics by a right-wing network -former home of The Puffster- is American enough to make Harper change channels?

Why are the media surprised? When Justin Trudeau proclaimed that he does not watch the news (if it's important, someone will tell him), the media was not outraged.
