2 hours to go

This story from the greatest Football writer alive two hours to go before the kickoff for the England Germany game, the biggest so far!
This story tells of the media war between the two rivals, interesting read.
And this classic prose from Rosie DiManno of the TOStar: "Last word goes to an English fan overheard in Durban:“The World Cup has turned out like World War II. The French surrendered early, the USA arrived late, and we’re left to fight the Germans.”

ah, but how will the 'soccer war' end?

Alas it, the footie war, has ended and the English will only have their tales of other great victories to rely on: Crecy, Agincourt, Waterloo and the WWs. Unfortunately only two of the five involved the germans so the war will go on forever as no winner has been declared yet.

It was cool to see that fine old rocker Mick Jagger cheering on the team. He doesn`t look so bad for an old guy.

Now who do we cheer for with England out of it. Liked Mexico but they are gone today too.
