This was the entry on John Floyd's facebook page. John Floyd in an interview vehemently denies that he posted it. Strange.

I love the web ! Lets get serious Port Hope. We as taxpayers NEED motivated people who will be open, transparent and have a vision to include public debate. I know of no other person than John to do this. He has the experience and 'history' to lead us out of this financial mess. If you want a comic go to http://www.comics.com. If you want a leader watch his dust ! This race for our future in this community rests with people of vision and a plan. Otherwise call your realestate agent instead.
I think John might like to keep his facebook password private.

John Floyd wants to be mayor of Port Hope, but can't find a restaurant in Port Hope suitable for his birthday celebration?
I can understand I was at the bbq for john floyd , wow I just can not belive it , he is touch with us with a plan not only for port Hope but westnorthumberland .

watched the video of John Floyd's campaign launch. Heard a lot of rhetoric, but didn't hear a plan. Really hope he backs up the talk with a detailed plan. Port Hope could use it.
He sure will and it's not spending !
