Well I voted today at the Columbus Centre and it took 3/4 of an hour because
each letter had to be entered into a computer 'to prevent fraud'. If I had
not brought my letter I would have been taken to the head of the enormous
line and been allowed to vote showing photo ID. Where's the sense in that?
So I don't think much of computers helping to speed up voting so far. And
what about potential hackers? They are entirely possible despite what Bob
Spooner tried to tell me. My own son-in-law who has a software business had
a hacker from the middle east wreck his whole data base and it took 23
straight hours to fix it. I think paper voting is the way to go. Period.
