The ego of the man, Jamie Doolittle, quoted in a letter to the paper today, "Councillor Bob Spooner, after all of my previous writings, has listened to me, other readers and various editorials and coverage of this issue in this newspaper. Well done." If he has led the charge to fix the park to HIS satisfaction just imagine what he could do for the Town. Go for it Jamie don't live up to your surname!

You nailed it Ben. Sitting next to him at the Town's public meeting, with his various papers spread all around him, writing feverishly on several pieces seemingly at once, it was clear he was A Man on A Mission. Very sure of himself in his self-cast role as our saviour.
So how long has he lived here anyway? You have to be born here to make a pose like that one and pull it off successfully. Hell, I wouldn't even try that and I was born here.
