That is if he/she still works for the Town! Cobourg needs a sewage plant expansion and Mr Ford may yet give us one.  David Peterson gave us one in the 80s and now Doug should give us one in the ought2wentyfives.

The Mayor who excels in boasting about his connections and his ability to get money should be set free on this one. In a TO Star story click here it is reported that there is a $2.3million fund to pay for infrastructure that has already been established. Now he is announcing a $1.6million addition to the fund. If he is successful in this request then he can truly boast about creating more houses in his term than any other, instead of riding on the works of previous Mayors.

Surely Cobourg and its new found affinity with Ford’s pals who build houses will qualify. After all the East End developments are supposed to add thousands of new houses in the next thirty years. About time we got something from Mr. Piccini other than platitudes and photo-ops. He gets us a new Sewage Treatment Plant and he can have as many photo-ops as we can give him!
