If you can’t laugh at yourself sometimes you are in bad shape, this is one of those times. First of all if this jpeg is designed to humiliate or make us feel bad you have lost. This is a very clever post and it made us giggle. We are in admiration for the content but also for the time needed to create it.

However one must understand just where the post came from. Cobourg Politics is a private facebook group as they describe themselves “Welcome! This group is dedicated to bringing transparent Municipal Government Election information to the residents and business owners of Cobourg Ontario during the 2026 Municipal Election. Together let’s build a better future for Cobourg, get to know our candidates for council, school board and mayorship.”  They make everyone confirm to the rules. Rule 1 is “Be kind and courteous – no attacking” Let’s just leave it there.

Posting under the pseudonym of CuriousStrawberry6068 (SC6068) the poster, who may not be the creator, is obviously trying to malign a couple of Mr. Cleveland’s critics. SC6068 is one of only 493 likeminded people in the group so it is a very small group of rabid supporters of Mr. Cleland’s hard line against his enemies – the criminal supporting advocates for drug use – and we all know who they are; if you don’t join Cobourg Politics to find out. It is a fact that they vet the applicants for membership using some very peculiar criteria as we know people outside of the group who have asked to join and have either been refused, for a spurious reason, or their membership application is still pending. In fact this small group hasn’t had an application this week. So much for group activity.

This is a quick post just put up to show the Interwebthingy just how much effort some people are putting into the election – thank you we need engaged volunteers to spread the message. Just what this message is is best left to CuriousStrawberry6068 to explain.

It should be noted the person in the picture gave permission to post the image something SC6068 did not ask for.
