Yesterday the nearby State of Nayerit issued new regulations that shut down bars and casinos as well as large events. Restrictions were imposed on restaurants as well.

Today the neighbouring State of Jalisco, where Puerto Vallarta is located announced their restrictions. Naturally because Tourism is the main industry in Jalisco their regulations are more lenient. No shutdowns, now all we have to do is show a Vaccine Certificate to get into bars and restaurant.

At least the requirement to show paperwork is not onerous and hopefully will encourage the ‘unvaxxed’ to get their jabs.
